These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Kinmora. By creating an account, signing in or using Kinmora, you accept these Terms and agree to use the app responsibly and only for lawful, appropriate family care coordination.
Purpose of Kinmora
Kinmora supports family care coordination. It helps trusted care circles coordinate check-ins, help requests, call requests, messages, medication routines, medication logs, appointment reminders, important care information, manual wellbeing readings, Apple Health summary-based Device Insights, alerts and shared dashboard updates.
Important safety limits
Kinmora is not a medical device. Kinmora does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, monitoring or prevention of medical conditions, clinical monitoring or emergency monitoring. Do not rely on Kinmora for emergencies, urgent alerts or safety-critical decisions. In an emergency or urgent medical situation, contact local emergency services or a qualified healthcare professional.
User accounts
Users are responsible for keeping account details secure and for making sure information entered into Kinmora is accurate where possible. Kinmora supports email/password login, Apple Sign In and Google Sign In. Some account actions may require email verification or re-authentication.
Age requirements
Kinmora is intended for users aged 16 or older. If you are under 16, you may only use Kinmora with permission from a parent or guardian.
By creating an account or using Kinmora, you confirm that you are 16 or older, or that you have permission from a parent or guardian to use the app.
If we become aware that an account has been created by a person under 16 without appropriate permission, we may delete the account and associated data.
Care circles and invited members
Care circles are intended for trusted family members or support people. Information in a care circle may be visible to approved members according to their role and access level. Users are responsible for inviting only trusted people and for managing access appropriately.
User responsibilities
Users agree to use Kinmora lawfully, respectfully and honestly. Users must not upload abusive, unlawful, misleading, harmful or inappropriate content; harass, threaten or impersonate others; access care-circle data without permission; or misuse messages, care information or profile details.
Accuracy of information
Medication schedules, appointment details, manual readings, important care information, check-ins and messages may be entered by users. Users are responsible for checking information before relying on it. Kinmora reminders and dashboard summaries are coordination tools and may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate if data is entered incorrectly, permissions change or services are unavailable.
Check-ins, help requests and call requests
Kinmora supports check-ins, help requests and call requests to help a care circle coordinate support. These features are for communication and coordination only. They are not emergency monitoring, and users should contact emergency services or appropriate professionals in urgent situations.
Medication and appointment reminders
Kinmora may send medication due soon reminders, medication taken updates, medication overdue notifications and appointment reminders when enabled. Notifications may be affected by device settings, network conditions, permissions and platform services. Users should not rely only on Kinmora notifications for important medication, appointment or care decisions.
Notification limitations
Push notifications, alerts and reminders may be delayed, duplicated, missed or unavailable because of device settings, network conditions, platform services or app permissions. Users should not rely on Kinmora notifications for emergencies or safety-critical decisions.
Messages and user content
Users are responsible for messages, photos and other content they add to Kinmora. Users should only share content they have permission to share with the relevant care circle. Kinmora may restrict or remove content or accounts if misuse is detected or reported.
HealthKit and Apple Health summaries
With permission, Kinmora may read supported Apple Health summary values for Device Insights, such as steps, sleep, heart rate and respiratory rate/breathing where available. Apple Health data is informational only in Kinmora. Kinmora does not provide medical advice based on Apple Health data.
Service availability
Kinmora depends on devices, internet access, app permissions, Firebase services, Apple and Google sign-in services, Apple Health availability, push notification services and other platform services. Features may be delayed, interrupted or unavailable.
Account suspension or removal
Kinmora may suspend or remove access if an account is used in a way that is unlawful, abusive, harmful, misleading, unauthorized or disruptive to the service or other users.
Account deletion
Users can initiate account deletion in Settings or contact support for help. Account deletion may remove or deactivate the user's personal account. Some shared care-circle information may remain where necessary for other members, continuity, support, safety or legal reasons.
Intellectual property
Kinmora's app design, branding, text, software and related materials belong to Kinmora or its licensors. Users retain responsibility for the content they add, but grant Kinmora permission to process and display that content as needed to provide the app.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Kinmora is not responsible for losses caused by misuse, inaccurate user-entered information, missed or delayed notifications, device issues, unavailable data sources, care-circle member actions, or reliance on the app for emergency or medical decisions.
Changes to these Terms
Kinmora may update these Terms as the app changes. Continued use of Kinmora after updates means acceptance of the updated Terms where applicable.
