Family care coordination and wellbeing summaries.

Last updated: 1 June 2026

Kinmora is a private family care coordination app. It helps users create or join a private care circle for a cared-for person, coordinate messages, reminders, check-ins, help requests, call requests, care activity, appointments, medication routines, important care information and wellbeing summaries.

Kinmora is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, does not diagnose, treat, monitor or prevent medical conditions, and is not an emergency monitoring service. In urgent or medical situations, contact emergency services or a qualified healthcare professional.

Information Kinmora may collect

Kinmora may collect and store information that users provide or create while using the app, including:

Account and sign-in data

Kinmora supports email/password login, Apple Sign In and Google Sign In. Sign-in services may provide account identifiers, email address, display name and provider profile photo. If a user has a Kinmora profile photo saved, Kinmora uses that photo first instead of replacing it with a provider photo.

Children and age requirements

Kinmora is intended for users aged 16 or older. If you are under 16, you must have permission from a parent or guardian to use Kinmora.

If we become aware that a person under 16 has created an account or provided personal data without appropriate parent or guardian permission, we may delete the account and associated personal data.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has used Kinmora without your permission, please contact us at helpkinmora@gmail.com so we can review and, where appropriate, delete the relevant account or data.

If information about a child or another person is added to a care circle, the person adding it should have appropriate permission or authority to do so.

Care-circle sharing

Information added to a care circle may be visible to approved care-circle members according to their role and access level. Users should only invite people they trust. Non-members should not have access to private care-circle information through the app.

Messages and profile photos

Kinmora stores chat messages, uploaded chat images and user-entered information so approved care-circle members can view and coordinate around them. Profile photos may be shown in Dashboard, Settings, Manage Members and Care Circle Chat. Users should avoid sharing images or messages they are not comfortable showing to approved care-circle members.

Manual readings, medication and appointments

Manual readings, medication schedules, medication logs, appointment details and important care information are stored when users add them. These records are for coordination and information only. Users remain responsible for checking information before relying on it and for following instructions from qualified professionals.

Apple Health and HealthKit

With user permission, Kinmora can read supported Apple Health metrics on device for Device Insights. Supported summaries may include Steps, Sleep, Heart Rate and Respiratory Rate/Breathing where data is available from Apple Health and supported devices or apps.

Apple Health access is optional and read only. Kinmora does not write data back to Apple Health. Kinmora does not store raw Apple Health samples, HealthKit sample identifiers or full Apple Health history. Kinmora may store latest care-circle dashboard summary values, such as steps, sleep duration, heart rate and breathing/respiratory rate where available, so approved care-circle members can view the selected care circle dashboard.

Kinmora does not sell Apple Health data, does not use Apple Health data for advertising, and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment recommendations based on Apple Health data.

Push notifications

Kinmora may store push notification tokens and notification preferences to send enabled phone notifications, such as medication due soon reminders, medication taken updates, medication overdue alerts, appointment reminders, manual reading updates, check-ins, help requests, call requests, messages and care activity. Notification delivery can be affected by device settings, network conditions and platform services, and should not be relied on for emergencies.

How Kinmora uses information

Kinmora uses information to create and manage accounts, authenticate users, show care-circle dashboards, manage roles and access, support messages and photos, display care activity and alerts, store user-entered care information, send enabled notifications, provide support, improve app reliability and maintain safety and security.

Third-party services

Kinmora uses third-party services to operate the app. These may include Firebase Authentication, Firebase Firestore/database, Firebase Storage, Firebase Hosting and Firebase Functions; Apple Sign In; Google Sign In; Apple Health/HealthKit; Expo push notification services; and Apple/device platform services required for app operation and notifications.

Data retention and account deletion

Users can initiate account deletion in the app from Settings. Account deletion removes or deactivates the user's personal Kinmora profile and login where supported. Some shared care-circle records may remain where needed for other approved members, continuity, ownership cleanup, support, safety or legal reasons. Users can contact support for account deletion or privacy questions.

Security

Kinmora uses reasonable technical and organizational measures for app security, including authenticated access and care-circle scoping. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should keep sign-in details private and invite only trusted care-circle members.

User rights and contact

Users can contact Kinmora about privacy requests, account questions, deletion help or support at helpkinmora@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

Kinmora may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. The current version should be available publicly and may also be reflected inside the app.
